THEATRICAL MASK MAKING FOR ADULTS.

A fairy tale mask-making course by Jenni Joule. Hello folks! I am putting on a creative mask making course for all you lovely people out there who love to dress up in Feathers, fur, fluff and glue. This workshop is for people who would like the time, space and inspiration to make their own theatrical mask. This course is held in my own home and work studio in Easton therefore places are limited to three people per session. Through the course of 4 weeks (please note this is a rough estimate of the time,some people need more sessions than others) you will learn the techniques of making a half-faced theatrical mask. We will be using the traditional techniques of paper mashe and paper clay with mixed media fabric and simple sewing. During the 4+ sessions we will experiment with different decoration and texture ideas to use on our masks. Some include: patchwork, dying, hand stitch, painting and printing. The workshops will run on a: Wednesday Morning- 10am-2pm Friday Morning- 10am-2pm Sunday Afternoon- 12-4pm Please Email Jenni to book your place before starting the course: jenjo1388@hotmail.com All materials and inspiration are provided and you’ll walk away with at least one beautiful unique piece of theatrical art, perfect for presents, keep sakes or to use in theatre .
