fish teeth

I ve been collecting these fish bones just because there beautiful. I was really surprised to see molar teeth in the jour bone of a trout, but i love them. There like little pearls.

I ve been meaning to use the bones for about a year now, but i just don't know how. I was thinking of doing some delicate detailed embroidery and attaching it somehow. It would look beautiful in a little glass dome.

Fish

I ve been playing with the movement of a mass of objects. I am really interested in groups of small things, I think I could sew the fish onto a large scale piece of fabric in the same movement.

I bought some droplet shaped beads online the other night and they arrived today, yay, although it seems as though i forgot to look at how big they are.....hummm, there about half the size of my fingernail. Think I am gona have to invest in a lot more than i was planning on. ooops.

Making a Fat suit for my textiles project

I am trying to work out how to create a fat suit. The idea behind this is to embroider contour lines (like the ones you would find on a map) onto the bodies lumps and bumps. This body will be put together with the animal head Iam making. Iam looking at the Concept of Fate, lay lines and shamans. Everyone has there own path in life.

experiments into cocoons

I've been starting to look at fish eggs, cocoons, and wrapping. I might start by making a series of masks, developed with theses ideas.
